Eggasperated Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Saw the sun for the first time in ages here in Fife yesterday, actually got some washing dry. Me and OH went for a bike ride before lunch, he had planned on 15 miles but we got bogged down on a lot of the paths as everything is so wet and only managed 12 miles as we wanted to get home in time to watch the Grand Prix. chickencam Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 We had a thick white frost everywhere this morning and I had to defrost the chicken's drinkers for the first time this year, forgotten how cold that makes me brrrr. We haven't seen the sun today and by 11am we had light sleet, which was then followed by heavy rain at 2pm. Clouded over mid-morning and the mist gave way to freezing drizzle. Chicken drinkers partially frozen Temps due to rise tomorrow, thankfully as I am outdoors most of this week. Still mild this morning at 8deg and slightly foggy, drippy and miserable. There's good cloud cover though, so I doubt we will have a frost. I am outside again this week, so had 5 layers on, fingerless mitts and 3 pairs of socks! However Agnes thinks Yodel must be delivering her new feathers as they haven't turned up yet, so she says she's staying in until they arrive!
