Chilli is missing....(happy update!)

Recommended Posts

Chilli my lovely half Bengal cat has been missing for 3 days & I am just beside myself with worry

Typically he lost his collar last week, so has a spare on which had no id tag (although he is chipped)

He often goes walkabout for a day,but never for this long.

Is it too soon for me to do a leaflet drop in the village,do you think?

He is pretty adventerous, so could have gone somewhere to sleep & got shut in.

In fact we have suspected him of having a little hidey hole as he sometimes is away for a day at a time, even if its raining heavily (so it must be a dry place)

I will take a wander later.Thing is there aren't many houses by me as we are at the end of the village,& I am not sure how far he does actually wander.

being the BH weekend Chilli might just be in a shed etc and will be able to get out soon. I'd think about asking local neighbours etc anywat just incase some one has seen Chilli. Our Jasper never roams and once went missing for a 5 days. Came back safe and sound so I guess he was locked in some where. Hope Chilli is back soon (hugs)

How horrible. Our little Squeak went missing for about 5 days once. She was locked in a neighbor's shed and the neighbor went on holiday to spain for about 2 weeks. Definatly post leaflets around thats how we got Squeak back, the person who came to feed and walk the neighbors dog saw the leaflet and looked in the shed. If we hadnt have posted them around it would have been 2 weeks Squeak would have been in there.

I hope you find him

:( hope he turns up... kitties can be such a worry...

i did see something on the tv a wghile ago about a bloke who lost his cat... 6 months later it turned up! dont lose heart yet but i would probably put posters up cos if he was in an accident and lost his collar some one might have taken him to a vets not realising he had an owner... not that he WAS in an accident...

maybe its something else like he had a secret girlfriend who has moved over seas so he has set off on an adventure to be with her always!!

dont lose heart :)

Hope the leaflet drop works. I had a cat once who went missing for 3 weeks and came home one night with coaldusty paws and terribly pleased to be home. It is wonderful when they come home after an adventure. Fingers crossed you will soon be celebrating

My cat went missing for 4 days once. I hunted everywhere for her and after a couple of days did a leaflet drop through letterboxes and in local shops. On the 4th day I was sitting in the back garden and she just appeared over the fence :) a neighbour further up said they had seen her vaulting the fences all the way down the gardens to get home bless her. She was covered in cobwebs and a bit dehydrated but was fine after a lovely cuddle with her mum. I'm certain that the leaflets worked for me

I know what you are going through as they are like a member of your family and you miss them dreadfully when they are not there :(

I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Loads of hugs on their way

I really hope you hear something positive soon, pets are such a worry. Also in the morning if you haven't heard don't forget to ring round your local animal rescue centres, Police stn and vets, if he's been found and has a chip he may have been handed in.

Good luck

Funny I did the same thing when Killer went missing, my leaflet asked folks to check garages and sheds. She came back next night looking rough, was woken up by her purring on the bed next to me. Hope you have a similar happy ending
