Guest
All my childhood illusions have been shattered. The Paddington Bear that I grew up with, would never lower himself to indulge in such disgusting habits...... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6992874.stm
Christian
Shona I'm sorry. He has sold out to Marmite ( ) He was probably paid huge amounts of money!!
chelsea
I LOVED paddington as a kid. I've still got the toy paddington bear my mum and dad bought me in London with real red wellies, when Iwas a kid I used to take them off and wear them myself. Popcorn
Come on Paddington! I'd much prefer to have a marmite (& cheese) sandwich than a jam one! Paddington is on-side at last!!

Egluntyne
I'm a Marmite girl - I lovesavoury stuff. Me too..as a rule..I'd rather have an olive or a gherkin than a chocolate anyday. But Marmite tastes like my old art teachers breath used to smell if you see what I mean.

Helen&Lee
I LOVED paddington as a kid. I've still got the toy paddington bear my mum and dad bought me in London with real red wellies, when Iwas a kid I used to take them off and wear them myself. I've still got mine - and both my neice and nephew wore the wellies off him as toddlers Helen

Popcorn
Hang your head in shame Popcorn!!! I'm stood in the corner. Please let me know when I can come out and play again. Bron, I stand corrected - you're dead right. It was marmalade! Couldn't have a marmalade sarnie though..... Just caught the ad on channel 5. It's bought back some forgotten memories of Paddington. It's a really clever idea, and will get a lot of publicity. I think it's great - and marmite too
Cinnamon
Couldn't have a marmalade sarnie though..... Marmalade sandwiches are my absolute faves - we call the PB's in our house, for obvious reasons
Rona
Good old Paddington! I love marmite especially the new squeezy bottles.
Popcorn
My Mum loves them too Sarah. Nice slice of crusty bread, with some butter and marmalade. She says it's a real treat!

Should you be admitting to snogging your art teacher Eglutine I'm going to have a sleepless night now, trying to get rid of that thought. In any case, she was hideous! No-one would admit to snogging her!

theherd123
Marmite is so so wrong in every way! Can it actually be classed as a food?
