I bought some new clothes today.

They are size 20's! At the beginning of September I was wearing 24 on the bottom and 26/28 on the top!!!!

Only downer is that they won't fit for long....

I did kinda mention clothes swapping, a few weeks ago one of the women in my group had a jacket on that I loved and I said - if it gets too big and you are thinking of getting rid of it let me know first. She just sorta smiled at me.

Some people just don't do secondhand - me I've been buying on ebay and out of one shop where I already bought most of my clothes which is quite cheap. The skirt I bought today was £20 and the T shirts were both in the sale one at a£5 and one at £7. In the big Jan sale I will buy a couple of sizes down!

The only downside is that it is really hard to type with it, but the web browsing is brilliant (same goes for iPhone and iPod Touch)

I have not found that a problem :?

I used to know someone who used to tidy up their house, then take her 3 children round to her sisters house all day (dinner and tea!!) and go just as her husband was due home.

obviously the first woman had a perfectly tidy house for husband to walk into (hubby thought she spent all day tidying up) second one had a house of chaos for her hubby to walk into (and she had no children  ) luckily 2nd hubby knew the score - and dropped sister in it

Brilliant day yesterday, helped at a hen rescue, 300 gorgeous girls all went off to some fabulous new homes, and I met up with my fellow hen rescuer friends again :D:D:D . Lots of chatter, a lovely vegetable soup, cake and a brilliant job well done :D:D

I've also very nearly finished my Christmas shopping, I think that I've got some great pressies this year, so I'm feeling well chuffed that I'm so organised this year, and now I really can't wait to see everyone's faces when they open their gifts this year :D:D

This is from Thursady really, but we've been away. On Thursday I let our 2 omlet girls free range as they had been bullying the newbies. Our delivery of run extension arrived a day early and was put in back garden. When I got home Balti was missing.

I was in a mad panic, over the field, knocking on doors etc. When I fetched the kids I had to break the news that a fox may have got her. 2 hours later, the phone rang and it was the vets. A man 1/4 of a mile away had found a chicken near his house. We went shooting off in the car and it was Balti. The lovely man had caught Balti wandering along the road. He had made her a box filled with shredded paper, and she was nesting quite happily. He had spend the afternoon looking after her, feeding her treats and playing with her whilst he phoned everyone he could think off who might know where she had come from.

It really restores your faith in human nature! :):):)
