laurmurf
It’s been such a long time since I’ve been on the forum but today it feels so right to login to say farewell to Plum. My Omlet friends became friends for life and a close and important network of loving support. Many Omleteers get together today to say goodbye to Plum, that colourful, creative and loving woman we were so lucky to know.
bronze
I’m rarely on here and just happened to log in today. I’m saddened to hear this news. I remember Plum from the old days. She always seemed like a lovely, bright and expressive woman. 1
Blackrocksrock
Oh no, this is awful news- Plum helped me with my sewing and she was such a prolific crafter. I am saddened to read this.
Luvachicken
Very sad news indeed. She was one of the very first people that helped with my chickens when I first joined on here.
Daphne
Yes, I am sad as well, she was so creative, and a lot of fun. What a shame, such horrible news, I feel quite down in the dumps despite never meeting her in 'real life', but I can conjure up a mental image, quick as a flash, you can't say that about everyone.

Cat tails
Very sad news indeed. She was one of the mother hens to us new chicks learning about keeping chickens. I find it comforting to know that many of us have a little quilted memory in our houses to remember her by.

Cat tails
Picked a fresh strawberry yesterday which me made me think of Plum. It looked a bit like a hen.
ajm200
Such sad news. I rarely visit the forum anymore but remember how helpful and supportive Plum was in my early days of chicken keeping years ago. As a fellow crafter I loved seeing her makes. We have a little chick hatching right now and this was the first post I saw when I logged I in, If our chick is a girl maybe we should call it Plum
ajm200
The chick we’ve named Plum. Hopefully a girl so we can keep her. Plum taught me so much when I was a newbie Edited June 16, 2022 by ajm200
Ursula123
What a little sweetheart fingers crossed it’s a girl. Plum helped so many of us with chicken stuff and set me on the road to trying sewing outside my comfort zone.
