Karen & co.
My poor daughter has just been to the run with OH to fasten the girls up for the night, and found Frodo dead on the floor She was still a little warm and looked as if she had had some sort of seizure, as she was fully stretched out with food in her beak This was so sudden, she had battled peritonitis on and off, and today was waddling round the garden having a ball freeranging with the others, looking splendid in the sunlight, so to find her was dreadful. She was one of my first chooks from Omlet Here she is in one of my favourite chook photos. Karen x

Karen & co.
Thank you so much for the lovely messages Sarah was a bit wobbly about checking for eggs today, until I pointed out they were all in the garden but after helping give them a good spring clean and porridge before bedtime tonight she is feeling much better thank you It seems strange counting 10 chooks at bedtime instead of 11 Karen x
