Rhapsody
It looks stunning- when we redevelop the Elizabethan Hovel we want a through hearth like that!!! But we do have a rickety old one that heats our hot water for free *smug*
Lesley
Wow, looks amazing - what was in the space before Lesley? The slabs which are now flat on the floor were raised on brick pillars and on top of that was a fairly small gas/log fire. Above that was a monstrous canopy I've got a photo somewhere......... chelsea
wow, that is one woodburner. im VERY bet it puts out some heat eh? Along with chickens, woodburner is on my "I want, must have, will have" list, I got the chickens so maybe one day I will get the woodburner. Suppose getting a chimney would be a good idea first! Guest
Lovely woodburner - much better than the previous installation. I love mine! It's also perfect for my hous, the house is modern and it is inset into the wall with extra vents to give out more heat. I guess there was a fireplace before.
