HasSumAmi
Dear LoveMyChooks I just couldn't find the words ever since I read this post. Had a look through your gallery of beautiful chickens and am just SO sorry that they are all gone. I just pray that the last one hangs in there... I cannot imagine how devastating it must be. The excitement of every chook loved and wanted, and now there is having to face the loss of all of that. Digital hugs and positive thoughts coming to you through cyber space... Lovemychooks
I went in to look at the last remaining chook and her eyes were open, she drank some water and took some watery egg. She moved her head when she had had enough water and egg but moved it to the side again when she wanted more. She is fighting this......i've been talking to her and stroking her so I think she is getting better All your positive thoughts must be helping her through, thank you Edited March 24, 2008 by Guest

Lovemychooks
Well my remaining survivour is still hanging on, thankfully, although she still can't stand but is drinking and eating. I'm now wondering if she is lonely because I haven't taken her out to see the other chickens so i'm thinking that I might do that tonight. She has responded well to the anti-inflammatorys (sp?) and anti-biotics so fingers crossed
BeckyBoo
Good to hear she's still with you, don't know about where you are but it's sunny here, maybe it would do her good to see her mates again and get a bit of watery winter sun. Lots of positive vibes Mrs B
