My parents lived in NYC for years and I feel very connected to it and to all the people affected that day. Guest
I count my blessing every day, given that my brother was due to meet work colleagues in the North Tower on the morning of September 11th. Thankfully, they had worked out the day before that business was so much easier to discuss over a round of golf, so had headed out for the day instead. Unfortunately, both had turned their phones off, for fear of being caught playing hooky, and it took several hours to ascertain my brothers where-abouts.
