Tragic news

Aww, it must be really difficult for you and your son. Just be there when you can and try to comfort him as best you can. If you know the parents try to be there for them as well. It really helps if you give as many people as possible your support. It was a week yesterday that someone died at our school too and together everyone's gradually getting through it.

Vicki, How absolutely terrible. It's so awful when a young life is taken like that - nothing can prepare you for the shock and the seeming unfairness of it all. He had all his life in front of him and I think it is the not knowing how his life might have been which is so hard for everyone to bear. I will keep you all in my thoughts. Allisonx

My sympathies go out to anyone who has to deal with a tragedy such as this.

It is devastating enough to lose someone who has had a 'fair crack of the whip', but to have a young life extinguished in its prime is simply not fair, I cannot imagine how awful that feels and I hope I never find out.

RIP

I totally agree this has really shocked and saddened me. My granddad died at the weekend aged 93 and to be honest it is a relief as he has been very ill although many tears have been and still will be shed.

I do have religion (although I don't practice as much as I could!) but its events such as this poor girls life that really make me question it!

Lots of love and sympathies to everyone who was in her life
