Lesley
We've had two hours of snow which has settled on the cars but not really anywhere else. Lauren and Jake have s"Ooops, word censored!"ed the snow off the cars and had a snowball fight We had a glorious morning, cold and sunny, and I planted onion sets out in the veg plots and picked tomatoes in the polytunnel I picked the last of the apples and pears in anticipation of the snow. buffie
It's snowing but not settling here, if it freezes (supposed to) it'll settle or be like an ice rink. Mikey's at the vets now with Lucy (hen) she's staying in the house tonight ( in cat box) I can't carry her out in the cold tonight.. Brrrrrr Safe driving everyone Buffie x
chelsea
very cold here, my sister texted me from St Ives - they've had a lot of hail there. Typical I see, we've returned from the scottish highlands (from the wet weather) and today they've had snow (Inverness airport was shut today). I would love snow here! Ardene5
Hi Everyone Well here in Pressall near Blackpool it has been very cold but not snow. Around us are the Pennines and The Lakes to the North, as the crow flies it is not far and all the hills are covered in the white stuff. There was a wind chill on the beach at Cleveleys at 12 noon today, as I went sea fishing but alas I did not catch anything, but it was a beautiful day. What was the day like for you and also the weather? jlo
Bloomin' cold - especially in my office where there was no heating and, even having a load of lawyers around did not generate very much hot air! Hoping for a decent dry day tomorrow when I will be on the golf course with DD!

Ardene5
Hi Well what a lovely day here but how cold, went sea fishing at Cleveleys. Did I get a bit ....... no just sea weed. But hey it is only my second day sea fishing. Had 3 lays of clothes, balaclava and gloves and was warm in the sun at 12 noon. On the Lakeland hills you can see ..... snow. So not that far away so it's on its way ... no cloud cover here so expecting a hard frost. But could be a nice weekend.
