Lesley
It must have stopped short of Banbury then Clare because we've just had two hours of snow It has settled on the cars and my son and Lauren and Jake have s"Ooops, word censored!"ed it off for a snowball fight. We had a glorious morning, cold and sunny. I managed to weed a veggie plot and get all the onion sets in.
ClaireG
Isnt it funny how areas close to each other can be diffrent. We have snow here roads clear but its settled on my car and in the garden. Some flakes were so big they looked like crisps, its still snowing but smaller flakes and not so heavy.

BeckyBoo
We've got snow!! Thick snow! Just glanced out into the back garden (I'm vegging out watching Bond on TV) and wondered what was on the plants. Pulled the curtain back at the front to see, in the streetlight, a vertiable blizzard! I contemplated waking the kids for about 10 seconds, hope it's still here when they wake up! Mrs B
Snowy
Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!! -2 degrees out there at the moment. Just finished work and had to s"Ooops, word censored!"e a thick layer of ice of the windscreen first - no de icer or s"Ooops, word censored!"ers in the car, totally unprepared! No snow, but when I was at work, it looked as though some cars on the car park had travelled from the west midlands, they had thick blankets of snow on! *must find my gloves and scarf*
Paola
Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!! It has only settled on the cars and plants The kids are a little disappointed Poor OH has had to leave earlier for work so that he can take the car.

Cinnamon
Ours settled overnight, then froze,so has a lovely crunchy top It has covered the grass quite nicely, but the country road outside is TREACHEROUS, & people are still driving far too fast on it. You can see from my house that it is solid ice Won't be long before I get a 4x4 in my front garden at this rate

BeckyBoo
Well my children are up dressed and have been out playing since 7.15, which is basically when they got up, looked out and saw SNOW! They never normally get dressed that quickly! They ventured in after about half an hour with red raw fingers and noses, had breakfast and are now raiding the back garden. It's not very good snow now, it's frozen on the top, but when you're 3, 6 and 7 what does that matter? My front room is now full of bowls of ice and snow - smallest boy decided it was too cold and came back in after about 10 minutes so is supervising the division of ice on the table. I'm ready with me mop! Mrs B

cam1
Well my two have been out in the back garden (after i had raided the cupboard under the stairs....oh why is it always such a mess...oh probably because im on here rather than tidying! to try and find suitable gloves hats etc) the snow here also has a crunchy icy top not very good for snowman making which is what they wanted to do... did point out to DS that it would be a snow & chicken poo man ! It is starting to melt slowly now. Cam mya velma
Valkyrie
DD and OH had a snowball fight last night at 10.30 - her in her PJ's too! Then they brought it indoors. I had to end it before someone cracked their scull on the fireplace. Such a spoilsport me! Thankfully I got off lightly until I had to s"Ooops, word censored!"e the car off this afternoon, and then it was flicked all over me until I said "any more of that and you'll be walking to Alton"! The girlies don't like the snow!
The Dogmother
We ended up with some decent snow Lesley, but it didn't settle, not in the town where I am at any rate. A friend who lives up in the north of the town still had snow this morning though. I went out with the pup at 5am and it was so pretty - a heavy frost and all sparkly in the starlight. ClaireG
My Mum was impressed by the amount of snow still ontop of my car after i'd driven from home to hers (Little B) with the heaters going full blast!! I've still got a bit in the back garden now. I was actually quite suprised at how little Banbury had Claret.
