Spent the day in Hawkshead where hubby was running in the Hawkshead Trail race. Fastest time was less than an hour for 9 miles over the fells. Mad!!!! Blackrocksrock Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 It did clear up here to-day - its not been wet for ages - may regret saying that! - it was grey and murky this morning and then this afternoon the sun came out and it was lovely but still very chilly in the wind and only 9 degrees which is not warm. Arghhh, still nice and sunny - still a bit chilly if you are out for a while. Heating gone bonkers and boiler is working even though we've switched it all off - ghost in the machine perhaps!!
