It's just started snowing here....woohoo!!

It tried here about 8am, but is actually bright & sunny now, if darn cold

it tried about an hour ago here and now it's sunny, but they forcast snow this evening and tomorrow.

I dont like the white stuff too much as it cloggs my spaniels paws!

I think that it is due here overnight - just in time for all mayhem to break loose on the roads when everyone is trying to get to work and the kids are having to go to school. Oh well!

We're waiting for it this evening too . (Haven't told YS yet, he was SOOO disappointed last time they forecast really heavy snow and we got nowt .)

Please let it snow! I have found the sledge, my old wooly balaclava and I am soooo excited. Last time it was forecast we had three flurries and then brilliant sunshine!

A few flakes fell earlier, then the sun came out, but it did make me rush to get the girls cleaned out in case it came on properly. Heavy snow forecast in the South East tonight, afraid I am now of the age when I just think about how difficult it will be to get to work tomorrow!

Its due here tonight to , its certainly cold enough, why does it always happen during the week when it causes so much hassle?

Some tiny flakes falling here, some of the girls have gone in their houses. The sky is full of it I think, by how grey it's suddenly gone..It's expected to get heavier at 9pm tonight.

Thank god I'm going away soon. I love snow, but the sunshine appeals more!

It's been trying to snow on and off all day here The temperature fell from about freezing at sunrise to minus 4 by mid morning. The sky darkened about 1pm and we had a flurry, from the North too, which lasted about two hours. It's actually melting now on the pathways, (the temperature is now minus 2) but still settling on the soil. The chickens are out and trying to eat as much as they can

been snowing here for the last 20 mins and it's actually settling :D

 

 

We don't normally get snow....we're right on the south coast and protected by the Downs. In the last 13 years this is only the 3rd time we have had proper snow

 

The girls are all tucked up warm and cosy in their covered run - good job I changed their hemcore on friday, it's all nice and fresh and 4 inches deep :D Although Twinkle started to moult 3 days ago

Can you imagine the UK if we had 20 ft of snow . The whole island would grind to a total halt .

 

Just spent 2 hrs watching YS playing football - very cold but no snow yet although it feels like it's trying to .

Just checked our forecast - we've been downgraded to sleet overnight & tomorrow and possible snow Tuesday .

A very fine dusting of white powder fell over here a wee while ago but it has stopped now. The colour of the cars can still be guessed under the snow so just a tiny show. I want lots! I love snow, the crispiness, the clean look everything gets... it's lovely!

 

The only thing is that AuPair is in London visiting his girlfriend and if the trains stop running and the school closes down tomorrow OH will have the boys at home all day...!

 

I work at the OU which is about a 5 minute drive from my house via a perfectly greeted dual carriage-way so have no excuse whatsoever for a day off... oh well, never mind, at least we'll have pretty views from the windows while we slave away at work ...
