Redwing
Also......how do you climb in and out of a rollercoaster car in THAT skirt! CAREFULLY!
Ain't Nobody Here
I HATE high heels and never wear more than an inch or two if I absolutely have to . Those shoes are totally distorting her feet . Can you imagine the strain on her back and leg muscles .
..lay a little egg for me
Totally ridiculous - its looks so painful, its all about imagine, but someone should actually tell her the truth and that her feet look awful, instead of pandering to her. However I should imagine she has done this to get exactly where she managed to get - in the paper. Would be so nice to see her in trainers/flats running around with her kids (diana even used to - remember her at the theme park getting soaked with her boys). Saying all this I have met her a few times and she was a nice person. x I saw her wear "trainers" to open a ball game when the Beckhams first went to LA...they were high-heeled trainers!!! chickenanne
Actually, I like high heels, but don't wear them often - incompatible with mud, and because I'd not be able to run for the train so well...... However, is it me or are those heels a good bit too big for her? There's a big gap at the back.... did she maybe buy them on ebay and is trying to get some use out of them....? MedusA
Oh no! This thread is making me waver on buying Crocs again!!!!! Rubbersole have an offer for Caymans at £26.42 including delivery. I am sorely tempted as my current chicken shoes are in a bit of a state. I always said I'd never buy Crocs, but everyone on here is always singing their praises. *glares at Cinnamon for starting this thread* Anyone know anywhere cheaper than Rubbersole? *waver*
Cinnamon
*glares at Cinnamon for starting this thread* - You get no sympathy from me I never ever wear heels, but if I absolutely HAVE to, then its a wedgy heel not a thin one. I just topple over otherwise I do have a couple of pairs of low wedgy boots which I sometimes drag out for those times when the Crocs won't cut it, but thankfully they are few & far between
The Dogmother
I saw those pics yesterday and they made me wince. Poor, daft, deluded girl she'll end up a cripple.
Tiggy
ouch they look painful, I used to wear high heels but in recent years I look like Dick Emery trying to walk in them so I've given up, even so mine were never that high Victorias' are so high she is practically on tip toe it cannot be good for her, would shorten her achillies tendons and cause all sorts of problem
fluffyknickers
You all have to stop going on about how wonderful Crocs are - I swore I would never get any but now i am out in the garden i keep thinking how good it would be to slip some on. Just bought some new Hunter wellies (not full price) and now stopping myself from the crocs.
mostin
Poor old V.B. has exactly the opposite problem to all us normal crocs/birkenstock wearers. My friend who lives permently in high heels explained this to me a couple of years ago. Because high heels change the shape of your feet and shorten the ligaments at the back of your calves it's just as painful for a "high heels wearer" to spend the day in trainers, as it is for one of us to spend the day in high heels . I think I'll stick to my birki's, I think I'll have prettier feet when I'm an old bird .
Seagazer
Ouch they look so uncomfortable. I tried some higher heeled fancy evening sandals on the other day. One pair was so high I couldn't walk in them at all. I settled on a lower heeled pair. I love the look of most 'normal' high heeled shoes but I just can't wear them. I'm always in flat boots or trainers
jlo
I used to wear high heels but in recent years I look like Dick Emery trying to walk in them so I've given up, Loving that image I quite enjoy wearing high heels every so often but, being about 6 foot tall in bare feet, I can look pretty scary (and probably like Dick Emery too!). VB's heels are just beyond ridiculous imho! ...and I wish that she would smile a bit more - I saw her do an interview some time ago and she actually seemed really nice when she laughed and moved her facial muscles a bit! BarbaraJ
Eww yuck !! mind you would she look any better in crocs ????? to both!!
Happy chickens!
She must be mad! That's not natural!! I don't think she's quite grown up yet, and clearly doesn't look after any chickens!
Ain't Nobody Here
I've always thought she comes across quite well when you hear her interviewed but I can't bear the way she pouts and sticks her hips out whenever she's on camera . Keira Knightley's another pouter I can't stand . And enough already with the croc-pressure . I resisted last time there was a croc-fest thread and I'm standing firm again (in my trainers) . Willow
I don't think she's quite grown up yet I agree she looks like a doll not a woman/mum. I think I'm going to give in and get crocs for us all for this summer to make it easier to wander in and out to the chickens. I'd had to buy some flip flop type shoes in a hurry for ES last summer and got fake crocs from Tesco, they were hopeless for him for any length of time as they were too inflexible (I think because they were fake) and rubbed but I've been using them all the time to wander in and out to the chickens. Omletina Kyckling
The outfit isn't exactly logflumeworthy either. That made me laugh out loud!! I can't do heels any longer, and was never any good in them anyway. I often wonder if women who wear them all the time either don't feel the pain or have a high threshold to pain and grin and bear it for "fashion" I suppose I'm used to comfy shoes such as Crocs and Uggs now or walking shoes, so anything more restrictive is really annoying. I have some Mary Jane style leather shoes with a 2" heel which I wear for choir and kick them off whenever I can (not into the audience of course )
Phonix
And enough already with the croc-pressure . I resisted last time there was a croc-fest thread and I'm standing firm again (in my trainers) . you must resist the pressure of the icky chunky things!!!! I can't be the only one to resist as you all drop like flies!!! lol As for V.B - i understand the love of heels but they are awful - she almost looks like a balerina standing on point!!! YAK!!!! My toes still hurt from the heels last night but I think thats more where they were stamped on rather than the shoes!!! xXx
Valkyrie
Took the words right out of my mouth Phonix - I thought why bother with shoes, just buy ballet pumps. Ouch ouch and ouch.
Janty
I do have heels that I wear occasionally but I'd double my height if I wore VB's heels.
Old Speckled Hen
I often wonder if women who wear them all the time either don't feel the pain or have a high threshold to pain and grin and bear it for "fashion" I rather suspect Victoria doesn't walk more than a few yards in those shoes ...ever
kitbag
I love high heels - they're ssooo pretty! But not V.B's! They are truly awful! I can't walk in heels either, but i recently got given a pair of pop - art heels in my size!!
