Sheilaz
Phew, I think La Poule saved Emily there, although that's the longest wait so far I think. Surely interest in this topic couldn't be waning? Well, I was also thinking it would need to be 24 hours to really count as being a thread killer. What do you all think????
Chickvic
I'm going on holiday on Sunday and won't have access to Omlet until I'm back on Saturday. It'll be interesting to see how many replies this thread has had while I'm away!
Plum
Hello, just wanted to share with you I have killed some more threads. Wonder if there is a way of counting them so we can have a league table. Wonder who has killed the most.
Space Chick
We'll have to agree what lapse in response constitutes a thread kill!
Plum
Not lapse is it it's just no response. You don't really want to kill this thread do you. I thought we were all rather fond of it.
Space Chick
I don't want to kill it Its like an addiction!
Valkyrie
Hellooo all - I must admit I was rather biting my nails (but as I was up to my elbows in dirt from the garden they didn't taste very nice). Sorry Emily - that must have been so tense for you!
Alis girls
Can't beleive this is still going. What can we do now, have exhausted silly songs, its 1/2 term so maybe depleted in numbers any suggestions?

mostin
No ooooooooooooo, with ANH's new green powers she can lock the thread at any time, so she can "choose" the thread killer . Beware . Oh no, it's going to be now for saying that isn't it! I'm sorry .

Valkyrie
Ooh, hadn't noticed. Congrats ANH (suck up time harrrr). Ooh big scarey monster - how about things that scare you most? I got frightened by vampire films and used to go up to my room with my eyes shut until I had closed the curtains - didn't help that the cat was looking in and the light reflected in her eyes when I chanced a peek and yelled (only to be told off by dad because my brother was asleep). The scariest film was "Night of the Demon" when the thing chased a fella (Dana Andrews?) through the woods - and I came home late one night from work and went through the woods - ran all the way home! All other late nights I walked the long way home by the roads.
Ain't Nobody Here
I saw "Asylum" aged about 12 (long story ). Once home and quivering in my bed, my darling brother put his hand round the door in a paper bag and gave me the fright of my life . (I'll not go into the plot here .) LaPoule
My brother, a friend and I (ages 10-14) watched a Jack the Ripper movie (can't remember which one), and then had to walk IN THE DARK down to said friend's house, where my parents were (2 minute walk in a very friendly neighbourhood - that was not how we saw it at the time!!!) A few years ago, for some reason I stayed up late and watched "The Birds" alone - then I had to get up and go to bed. You'd think that as an adult, that this would not have been problem. You'd think wrong

Plum
Give me soppy films anyday. The Birds gets to me but I enjoy it but can't remember what it's called but the film that has dolls with knives is definately unsettling.
