How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Here is the "bee" that decided to venture down our chimney - any idea what this is? Bear in mind it's black as it's covered in soot!

My ED had a hornet in her bedroom a couple of years ago and that was was really scarey. It was enormous

Re hornets, DS was stung by one last summer. It was HUGE and very painful sting. It was in the same room as him and he was ignoring it as instructed when, according to him, it flew down and stung him on the foot. A lot of crying ensued and he had to have an ice pack on his foot for hours, which swelled up alarmingly. Ugh.

Looks more like an English bee to me - we saw some a few weeks ago and described them to Lesley's OH, Carl. He said they are English bees. We have some in our garden.

Claret, I've never seen anything like this in my life and I've seen plenty of English bees, none of which looked like this chap. I could be wrong though (and often am!)

It looks more like a bee than a bee fly - their bodies are like mine - round! Although I am less hairy! We get a lot of the little bee flies around here - like mini hummingbirds (and moths very big also like hummingbirds). It could be a hover fly, but the eyes look more like bee - some sort of bumble. The long bit is the tongue - probably died thirsty - too much soot for it to cope with. Poor widdle thing.

Years ago OH dragged me into the garage because he wanted me to get rid of the mouse he had caught. One look at it and I have never let him forget either - a June bug (or May bug/cockchafer) and it's antennae were fanned out (male?) and looked like it had big ears!
