A fantastic news update. Tom is coming home Thursday, he will initially go to our local hospital which means his sons can visit him at last. To say we are over the moon would be an understatement. Our understanding is that they only things that would stop this happening is if he suddenly took a turn for the worse or there were high winds.

Everything went smoothly today and Tom arrived at the local hospital at 7pm. I didn't go to see him because his sons haven't seen him since the accident and so we felt tonight should be their night to see their Dad. It will be so hard for them because they're only 12 and 15 but they really want to see him. Hopefully I'll get to see him tomorrow but we are a fairly large family so we'll have to take turns. What a relief though. Home at last
