Do you love it or hate it when companies mess with your favourite chocolate bar?

 

Im beginning to wonder if they have the imagination to invent new chocolate bars

I would be more than happy to help out!

 

Are there any chocolate bars that just shouldnt be messed with?

 

Which reinvention have you liked the most?

 

 

Personally I love the classics - Star Bar, Biscuit Boost, Wispa etc

I love Boost's too. Also, just as I discovered Texan bars, they stopped making the things! I was gutted as they were really nice. I also like Dime bars which for some reason are called Daim bars

I loveeeee Wispas! and they have just brought Wispa Golds back out as well!

(caramel ones) and mini eggs are another favourite of mine! OH loves Double Deckers as well ill have to tell him hes doing his green bit without realising as well!!

 

My dad works in Cadburys which probably explains why im a bit of a chocoholic though! Every year they open the factory to works family and friends and you can go on a tour around the factory! i remember going as a kid expecting it to be like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!! it wasnt though!!

Haven't seen an Aztec bar in years either ........ I they were in a purple wrapper

Milky Bars and Toffee Crisps are definitely my all time favourites though

Spira (spiral dairy milk), caramac, trello (pink & white marshmallow covered in chocolate), Fry's bars - Anyone remember quirks? Sort of minty Smarties.

I like double deckers, Bourneville, walnut whips & Malteasers. mmmmmmm

Anyone remember Milk tray bars too?

 

I don't eat choccy these days though. But think that the chunky kit kat was a very good re vamp of a classic!

I am still mournng the loss of the old Milky Ways. Flyte bars are similar thankfully but I don't like the new centres in the Milky Ways.

I hate it when they add sureptitious layers of caramel to everything! Horrible stuff - nasty, sickly and sticky. It just should not be allowed in a chocolate bar at all!

And OH is convinced I like it. Nothing worse than biting into a chunk of choccy, only to find that nasty yukky layer inside

Nope, chocolate should be just chocolate, maybe with a few nuts in it, but otherwise not mucked about with.
