Early morning posters

Recommended Posts

Well, I'm not an early morning poster really...I've just had my tea & am sitting down with a cuppa before I face the washing up (currently 12hrs ahead of you all time zone wise  ), but on the occasions that I log in it's often just me and a few bots. They're OK, they don't chat much...but at least it's possible to catch up with the red arrows in peace :)

Well I'm up early today as I've got a cold coming on so nose is stuffed up and have a bit of a headache. Could also be that I've now sorted out my hat phobia for the wedding but now have to buy new shoes to match as the ones I'd got already don't match :? could be a few more sleepless nights....:D

I'm usually an owl, but have to do the lark thing for the birdies. Occasionally I'm catching up on here in the middle of the night if OH has been snoring for Britain and there's no stopping him and I just give up. Now the nights are getting longer I am finding it harder to get up as early - even the dawn chorus is later. Half the problem was that the hens were bokking in the early hours and I was sleeping with both ears open rather than only the one - which I normally do. I also find it easier going back to sleep now rather than lie awake for a couple of hours before giving up and throwing on my clothes. PJ's? Who wants to see an old fat lady wobbling around with her undies on. :vom:

I think of the bots as though they are the little diddy things on Red Dwarf.

My OH spends the weekday morning snoring until the last moment, but at a weekend when I could have a lie in he is up and boucing around like a 3 year old, wondering why I don't want to get up.

Can't blame him really I am glad that I don't have to go to work everyday and I do have him to thank for that. :D

I'm an early poster, but not getting up early, its going to bed at 2 am

I can never sleep so just do all my work late at night when the house is quiet and theres nothing good on the tele :)

You can usually just hear Grimmy or Kissy Sell-out on the radio and father snoring - why whenever you try to be quiet, are the floor boards twice as loud!

I'm afraid earplugs however soft always give me earache. :( But I suppose if you can hear your breath, you know you are alive - which would be a great comfort!

Pillow over the head may help (which I have resorted to on occasion when the house over the road had all night parties before proper double glazing) - but now thinking applying it to OH!

I often get woken by something in the wee small hours. If it's after 2 or 3 am, I have great difficulty getting back to sleep so come on the computer for a bit of browsing. It's often just me and the bots.

It gets quite disconcerting if I'm replying to posts and my name is down as last poster on about 10 posts.

Morning Early birds!

Have been on earlies all week at work and woke up at 6am today

Just been out to let the hens out and Cornelia is broody. Again

Sipping tea and waiting for the sun to come out. I don't think it will. It is raining :(

Have a great weekend. :D
