I have taken to staring into peoples gardens to see if they have chickens.How bad is that??

That is real bad dippy bird, but I'm afraid I do it too and I get quite a good view too high up in my lorry!

We go one step further and shout chickens or no chickens as we pass gardens!!! There is lots of shouting in our car

I walk the dog a different route to the woods nowadays so I can nosy at the chickens up the road .

We went for a lovely riverside walk yesterday and saw new houses and we both said the same as you! We also saw older houses with lovely gardens that would have been perfect for chickens but not one had them! We both thought "What a waste!"

I've got an embarrassing habit of going to people's houses for the first time, looking out at their garden and saying 'ooh, plenty of room for chickens - they'd fit in perfectly over there'.

I think we must all be mad because me and my OH do this too. We're always looking at other houses on internet etc and usually the only comment about the garden is whether it is 'chicken sized', never mind the dog and cats or kids (oh dear, the kids came after the animals )

We do this all the time, if we win the lottery we have to look for a house with a huge garden for chickens and DH wants a beehaus!
