A chickychickychick-ENN!!
It's cold and horrible in my neck of the woods today. So I thought I'd ask - what's happened/happening today that has made you happy/thankful/giggle/glad? Fancy sharing some Friday goodness to take into the weekend? I got my wedding album this morning, and a smile from the postman.

dancing cloud
Daft though it sounds, I was delighted to put my foot in a great big dollop of a poo this morning as it means my Daisy-hen is now fully recovered and healthy again . It's not that long ago that she wasn't eating and her poo was just a couple of drops of water, so a great big morning poo means she's well again, as well as happy/cheeky/greedy/top-hen (and my favourite ) It's the little things that make the day a good day! chickencam
What a nice idea, and some lovely weekend plans. We have a quiet weekend planned, probably some gardening, then cosy evenings on our new sofas that were delivered on Wednesday. I have a horrible cold and have spent the morning in bed, I have had to struggle on for the last couple of days, but this morning OH took YD to school and I snuggled back to bed with my book, then fell asleep for a couple of hours . Still feel a bit rough but only got a bit of vacuuming to do, before the hoards come home.

Yorkshire Pudding
The job interview I have been dreading is over and done with. I feel human again! We are going to meet our dearest friends' newborn twin daughters on Sunday (and my cold has gone, so no fear of making anyone ill!). And I have an enormous, warm fluffy cat cuddled up to me on the sofa, a cup of tea and an hour before the kids have to be picked up.

Willow
I've been coaching my youngest ready for selective exam in Nov and had discovered he just didn't get maths so we've been doing lots of work. This morning he got 98% in the paper I gave him and he was so happy as he said 'It's really nice now I can do maths !'
chickenNutter
OOOOOOh thos posts are all soooo lovely. I have had a pants week with losing my job in a re-structure and learning that my team are going to be scattered to the four corners of Lancashire and Cumbria (well at least the ones who don't get made redundant). It really is the little things that make life worthwile. I got back from work this afternoon and spent 2 hours out in the garden with my girls smiling at their antics, and it all melted away. Life is so frantic these days, it really is the small simple things in life that remind you you are a human being, not a human doing. Let's all make time to just be. eggregiousness
Feeling better today as took last night off work. I have the fire lit and the heating on, a good book and a glass of cold wine available (may or may not have it - not sure how it might affect andtibiotics). There may even be something good on TV! Looking forward to a good night's sleep without the choking - it was much better last night.
