kazaddress Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 Just went outside to clean out the chooks.. and found Harriet dead in the pond :'( I feel awfull as I heard squawking earlier but it sounded like the noise she makes after laying an egg It must had been her struggling to get out. I feel awfull *sob* She was our favourate hen the one that comes in every evening for a treat and a cuddle before bed time. and she is the only one thats laying at the moment. My chickens make a lot of noise sometimes, usually for no discernible reason , so don't feel bad. You will always keep your happy memories of a special chicken. Take care.
