Hi Freddie Glad you do not have too long to wait although to you it will feel like a lifetime. A friend of mine had a lump last year, she had to wait 2 weeks for her appointment it was the longest 2 weeks ever but the result was good, nothing to worry about. Best wishes, thinking of you. I do feel for you - keep your pecker up kid - you've a lot of support here. I had a mammogram for a lump and scan some yrs back and thankfully all ok. But have a family history - so I'm a worrier. I didn't and, although the needle test is not that painful a procedure and I am not a "fainter" (perhaps three times in my entire life), I did faint and fell off an upright chair. It was late summer, so I was bare-legged, but happily (I remember) I was wearing darl blue bikini knickers that complemented the Liberty print dress I had put on that morning.
