chickencam Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 We have had a funny day today, it got light then immediately got dark again, then rained heavily and within 20 minutes it was a clear blue sky, then rain, then sun and finally heavy icy rain. I picked the worst time to leave the office at 2pm, the rain was like ice crytals, not hail though and very heavy I got drenched and very cold. The WIR which survived the gales last week has taken a battering today. The weldmesh on one side of the run has been ripped clean off the frame For the first time in a year I have had to close and lock the cube so the girls are safe tonight. I had to go to the neighbours & ask for the WIR roof back like it was a lost football. 3 of the 6 sheets are shattered & I don't have the money to replace them when the same will probably happen later in the week.
