Lewis
May have taken a trip down to Cotswold Chickens on Tuesday for a few christmas presents Saw some Buff Orps for sale at The Fed which dad wanted, so the idea of new chickens was planted, then I suggested getting hybrids instead for eggs Meet... Lewis
Lovely! Are they from Cotswold Chickens? Yep Quite a bit of snow Annie! They're inside the WIR in the Go with a run attached 'cos the Dinner chickens are in the eglu, so I've let them into the WIR to see the others a couple of times. The only ones that had a peck were Fearne and Audrey! Hopefully these intros won't take too long then Didn't think there were any Black rocks left but there was one (maybe 2) left so I had her! Have put corn along the side of the run to associate the new girls with nice nom

green
They're very pretty. I've never seen a Bluebelle with so much ginger on her chest before, our Bluebelle's sisters had only a small patch and mine is completely grey. Very . The Dogmother
They're very pretty. I've never seen a Bluebelle with so much ginger on her chest before, our Bluebelle's sisters had only a small patch and mine is completely grey. Very . Some Bluebelles can be very dark with dark combs and legs, others are lighter and some have a lovely hackle of ginger feathers - the contrast in the colours is lovely. They are lovely, chunky chickens and usually quite docile.
