It's fair to say, there's quite a lot of shouting going on in the (sectioned off) WIR at the moment

Thanks all, for the very kind comments. For those wondering, they are a Speckled Star and Black Star, both from Coltsworld Chickens, where Minstrel and Polo came from last year.

Thanks everyone. I've had my new girls exactly a week now, and with the weather being so nice, I decided today was 'introductions day'. The main flock were allowed into the garden and the new girls released into the main part of the WIR, with potential to access the garden. All went well, quite a bit of posturing, jumping, a few pecks and a bit of chasing early on, but by the afternoon Whisper was venturing into the garden for sort forays. Crunchy was not so keen on that idea, Polo (lowest of the original bunch) saw her chance to rise up the ranking and took great delight in chasing her around the WIR for a while, but things settled and for a first day, it all went well.

 

In fact, just as when I introduced Minstrel and Polo last year, Liquorish (my Pekin Frizzle Cockerel) kept his girls in order and didn't attack the newcomers either. A new picture below, just after Whisper and Crunchy were released into the main part of the WIR.

My rabbits are called Wispa and Crunchie
