Sorry everyone - life has been manic & I've not been on forum much recently and now I'm appearing because I simply MUST tell you all how brilliant my middle child is...

Yesterday he got his Finals results from Cambridge - and has a FIRST!

 

I am ridiculously pleased - it's a dream come true for him, and means he can stay on for another year to do an M Phil,which he really longed for...

 

His subject? Theology - so no practical value at all, but with a vicar for a mother what can you expect?

 

Thanks for letting me squeeeeee here.......I'm so proud of all my children, - they don't have to achieve to know that, I hope - but just sometimes there is something extra special.

That's absolutely fantastic news A friend found out yesterday that she too has got a first for her degree, all of which achieved whilst having a further two children to add to the three she already had. I'm full of admiration for those who work so exceptionally hard to achieve their dreams.

I went to Cambridge too, back in the mists of time, but was nothing like as brilliant as my son...but that makes this even more special somehow. Thank you all for understanding & letting me crow
