I just had to cull one of the millies, she ran out of the run door as I was closing it and got crushed, I held her for a while but she was suffering. Never done it before - I am so cross with myself, I know it was an accident and they are silly and flighty but I feel awful and stupid. Had to come to work and keep welling up

OH that's terrible for you! I can't imagine how you are feeling. But you've obviously done the right thing, I'm not sure I would be so brave. They are so very fast, it was an accident and nothing should have to suffer.

So sorry. It was just a terribly sad accident. It is understandable that you feel so upset but by being able to act so quickly, you have stopped her suffering.

You will do but accidents happen to all of us. I don't know if it could be prevented they just whizz around sometimes. If it's any comfort you need to feel rotten to get it out of your system and come to terms with whats happened.

I agree wholeheartedly with Egluntyne; these things happen to the best of us. Its not easy but you did it, you didn't pass the responsibility onto somebody else. I'm sending hugs until you don't need them anymore.
