I was feeling very CHRISTMASSY yesterday - I don't usually until after my birthday,but I got really excited about it early this year.

 

Already have a few bit & pieces, & am planning the hamper goodies.

My SIL, whom I adore, has already wrapped her presents and written her cards. She'd be clearing the Christmas Dinner plates away if she could.

 

I will confess to having made about 2 doz cards, but it is a hobby and takes time. That's my excuse anyway.

Must admit last week I bought a few 1/2 price toys to put away. Today I have ordered a few books from the bookman at work.

Have put away for hampers so far 6lb pickled beetroot & 6lb plum jam. Found a massive bramble bush the other day so this weekend I will be picking & making bramble jelly.

In all fairness,I do think it is a bit early to be subjected to it in the shops.

 

But if you want to seek it out yourself,spread the cost & make a start,then why not?

weeeeeee i love christmas!!!!! only 135 days to go

I am really really looking forward to it this year in my new home! I bought some outside lights in the January Sale & just know they will look gorgeous. I just can't wait to cook a turkey in the Rayburn. I'd love to put a gazebo up in one of the fields, play Xmas carols & drink mulled wine with a few locals! Think I'll be getting lots of outdoorsy & homey prezzies this year!
