Seen again,the second time this week,wearing monstrous heels (7inches!) & carrying her clearly adored new baby daughter.

 

Got her priorities a bit mixed up if you ask me ..... no child she be risked like that!

It saddens me too. She could seriously injure if not kill that baby if she tripped or fell.

I saw her wearing pumps and holding the baby and thought that she was being sensible. But when I saw the photo with her wearing the high heels I really couldn't believe that anyone would risk their baby being injured if they fell...really foolish.

She could have given the baby to the nanny and still tottered around in those shoe.

If she'd gont out in flatties (or sensible shoes), no doubt the press would have had a field day about how she'd let

herself go.

I suspect her feet would probably be in that position even if she didn't have shoes on, she's spent so much time in high heels.

 

I dread to think what would happen to the baby if she tripped or went over on her ankle . So irresponsible .

She's already got them apparently. She could be one of those people who have worn high heels for so long that she can't comfortably put her foot flat to the ground.

Yes, I know of a woman who's tendons(?) have been shortened & can only tiptoe when not in high heels; Harper's a cute name & so's the baby! I pity the child as she grows up though...

I know I couldn't walk in those shoes, I only wear heels when we go out and then I need hubby's arm to hold onto. I suppose the only thing is that she always wears them and so probably is quite confident in walking in them.

 

I certainly wouldn't wear heels (especially that high) whilst carrying a baby.

They are very high and her feet look very uncomfortable in the pictures where she is sitting down. I would be very worried about tripping up with or without a baby but it is an important part of her image I guess as is being seen only when she is back to being so thin after giving birth. I would love her lifestyle and money but I do feel sorry for her. It seems so sad that a woman and mother of her age feels that their image is so important that it seems to take priority over the health and wellbeing of herself and her family.

I have a bunion on my left foot but spent my 20s in a policewoman's flat lace up sensible shoes so I think that's unfair. I like the Beckhams for setting a good example.

I thought she had post-birth back problems, and was only allowed to wear flatties for a while? if that's true, she wont be doing herself any favours...

I really dont know how anyone can walk in shoes like that, anything over an inch and I'm teetering

maybe its why she never smiles? too worried about falling over?

I thought it seemed a bit odd that in the photos where she's sitting down, she seems to be staring at little Harper with her sunglasses on, can't imagine what that must look like from the baby's perspective, think if I wanted to chat to a baby, I'd take my sunnies off?

Much as I dislike the woman, she's incredibly clever at marketing brand Beckham, and sure knows how to keep in the spotlight

 

The boots with the dress were just plain ugly though, they looked orthopaedic

The shoes so bad for her posture/back etc but I suppose she is a grown up and it's her choice. She can't moan when she's crippled though I certainly wouldn't hold a child wearing something that high, apart from anything they just wouldn't go with my jeans . I suppose the safety thing depends on how often she has fallen over wearing shoes like this. I hope the baby gets to see her smile every now and again

It does make me cringe; but then it does when I see anybody walking around in public carrying a tiny baby as when DD was 12 weeks old we visited the in laws and OH carried her from the car on the driveway (fake block paving), slipped on some wet leaves and fell on top of her; after an emergency dash to the hospital (which we shouldn't probably have done ourselves as we were so shocked) and a suspected fractured skull diagnosis which was fortunately wasn't , we were after several hours allowed to take her home - she is a happy cheerful beautiful nearly 10 yr old now , so no harm done - but it was a horrible experience and just goes to show can happen quite easily.

What a frightening experience that must have been .

 

Just shows, you can't be too careful when carrying a baby .
