More heavy rain on the way overnight and tomorrow morning

A warm night, currently 9deg, but it has been blowing a gale all night. Looks like it is raining lightly out there, but too dark to tell.

It was blowing a gale here too and still is with heavy rain I spent half the night worrying wether or not my cube would still be in one piece now im spending the morning watching the girls checking that they are sheltering Connie has a cough im sure its the rain and the fact she runs around in it like a nutter that has caused it. Trixie seems to think just sticking her head in either the cube or nearest bush is enough to keep her dry Im also having to check on our recycling Ive chased a few bags down the road already hope they come and collect it soon

We had very strong winds last night, 10 degrees and heavy rain too.

 

It's still mild and raining constantly but the wind has dropped a bit- phew!

I take it back heavy rain, got soaked when I went into town

 

It won't take much for the road under the Harringworth viaduct to flood again. Did hear that a 4x4 got stuck in the water over Christmas and needed rescuing by the AA. We didn't risk it over Christmas and went the long way round, it is annoying but better to be safe.

It brightened briefly here but it is dark again now but not raining again ...yet

Went out yesterday to Baddesley Clinton (very pretty by the way, with Christmas trees everywhere, the staff must have had fun putting them all up and decorating them!), was surprised to see lots of flooded roads and fields along the way. Considering it is not too far from me, and we have no flooding here, it was a shock!

Still an awful lot of flooding around here and the river is bursting full again. The rain and wind suddenly died down around 3pm and the sky lifted. Right now it's clear and breezy, cold too.

About to go out and check all my girlies are in the correct house and then go and find our recycling bins completely forgot they were still out

 

Its sounding pretty windy again hopefully I wont spend the night worrying about the girls .....

3deg this morning, bright and sunny but a very cold breeze; I am going to do the mucking out before the weather changes its mind!

Hmmmm guess what it's raining ! Still at least it's washing the poop from the patio and all my girls have finally realised they can shelter under the cube would say how clever but it seems to have taken them weeks to realise this ! We did have one huge clap of thunder in the early hours , hope we get a break from this soon as my bike tent is ripped to shreds and I can see the roof felt is ripped on the shed hope everyone else's gardens are ok and their pets etc

It's still sunny here but the clouds are coming over now. I got the chickens cleaned out and will walk the dogs now before any rain starts. Surely we deserve one bright day?

Been raining here nearly all day but stopped around 3 so took Raisin for a long blowy walk .

Very windy overnight here followed by a fairly calm but cold day.

Managed to clean out the chooks and walk the dog without at any point getting wet!

The wind is picking up again now and there's more rain due.
