lillybettybabs
I always enjoy Boxing day better than Christmas day as ever since i can remember we would do something outdoors and then come home to bubble and squeak with leftover turkey and lashings of Branston pickle! Cinnamon
Yes,that is my favourite too I always cook way more piggies in blankets & stuffing balls than needed too,as they are so good cold the next day with Branston (Yes,it has to be Branston!) bluekarin
Mine is the leftover sarnie I make the next day, with cold gravy spread on the bread, then some cranberry, sliced sprouts and potato and finally the turkey It's making me hungry just thinking about it. Sadly, but not sadly, we are hopefully having beef Wellington this year, so no leftover sarnie. I am thinking of buying a couple of turkey legs to debone and cook rolled up, just to have some
Daphne
My mum always used to make a turkey pie with her own pastry filled with carrots and jellied stock from the carcass. I think it was way after Boxing Day when we got to this stage of the leftovers though I have to say my favourite bit is the Xmas Pudding though, probably because we only have it once a year. patsylabrador
The trimmings, I love the trimmings. I love to make a big stirfry on one of the days after Christmas and shove loads of left overs in. It's nicer than it sounds. It's something Dad always did and was always a treat as we could have bowl after bowl until we nearly popped.

Lavenders_Blue
Cheeeeeeeeeeeese! I love cheese but only tend to keep boring cheddar in the house as otherwise I would be the size of an elephant Christmas is the perfect excuse to indulge my cheese habit Mulled wine is my other favourite, although not a food. merlina
violet creams! rose creams! general flower flavoured things. Never seems to be any around the rest of the year - apart from sainsbury's have some lavender chocolate that I try not to eat too much of (which is not too hard as I don't like sainsburys and don;t go there much)

Lavenders_Blue
My other favourite Christmas thing is eating croissants, pains au chocolat and chocolate coins for breakfast on Christmas morning - yummy yummy! I rarely eat croissants any other time of year for the same reason as the cheese
majorbloodnock
Roll on Boxing Day! What's so special about a roll on Boxing Day?
rachel19
Theres no one specific thing, its just all the things you don't normally get - like blancmonge, jellies, twiglets and those little cheese filled football crispy things (not all together though!) I also like my annual snowball on christmas day and all of the leftover meats etc with pickled onions which i am slightly addicted to......mmmmmmmmmmm
Olly
Pandoro for breakfast - a family tradition, and Winter Pimms. And yes, bubble-and-squeak on Boxing Day. My sister loves eating cold Brussel sprouts, so I will have to hide them carefully to make sure there will be enough left!
Cinnamon
I love Brussels Sprouts & made the most wonderful Sprouts with Linguine from the latest Waitrose Kitchen magazine earlier this week. That will certainly be cooked again
chuckmum6
Trifle for breakfast on Boxing Day I'm with you on that, I like a slice of our local pork pie (Melton Mowbray) a bit of Christmas with hard icing and some Stilton cheese (local again) finished off with left over trifle - all for a Boxing Day breakfast ! It is rare I get all of those things now, but I did when I was little.
craftyhunnypie
Oh wow yes - trifle for breakfast! Thing is, I'll have mine in a little bowl & hubby will finish it off out the bowl it's made in with a huuuuge spoon! Bubble & squeak, mm mm mmm. I also love piccalilli! Having smoked salmon & scrambled egg breakfast Christmas day - looking forward to that. Emma.x
counturchickens
Another Boxing Day bubble and squeak fan. And cheese with port. I also don't buy these through the year as would be a rather tubby alcoholic! Buck's Fizz and dippy eggs for Xmas day breakfast is also a once a year favourite (the Buck's Fizz part)
