mollyripkim
I work from home on a telephone based business so am on phone for hours each day and have a panasonic cordless which is great, easy to use and great on speaker phone. The model number is kx-tg8421.
merlina
I have Panasonic KX-TG6524EB (that was a set of 4 phones and chargers for £55) It's out of stock on Amazon now so probably has been superceded by a new model Had them for 2 years and they're fabulous - highly recommended on every front

pips_pekins
Panasonic here too although no idea what the model no is. anyone solved the problem of how to find the darned thing when you've walked around and put it down..... somewhere??? One of the things I like about the Panasonic is the internal ring function which I use to find the missing handset and, much more importantly, I can call OH when it is time for my next cup of tea I expect other makes do this but have only had Panasonic. Lavenders_Blue
BT studio phones here which seem to be okay. Ours all have the internal ring thingy. Hubby used it once and once only to phone me to ask for a cuppa
The Dogmother
I've tried various over the years and always come back to Panasonic; they last well, have good range and the ability to copy the phone book across from one handset to another. The menu is really easy to figure out too.
freddie
We aught to do a test panel for "Which" !!
yvonne
I've given up on cordless phones, tried loads of models of all prices and they all seem to die quite quickly these days- sometimes simply replacing the rechargable batteries gives them a few more months of life. We now have several old fashioned corded phones but mostly use mobiles anyway.
Shirl
We have Gigaset too and they work really well which is important as the OH works from home one day a week and uses it all day.
Lesley
We have a Panasonic set as well, the only problem with ours was the choice of ringtones.....not brilliant but there was one I could live with
The Dogmother
I know what you mean, mind you this newer set I have has a better selection. Don't forget that if you have cordless phones in the house that you have to have one ordinary corded phone for emergency calls if the power is down - mine is plugged in in the attic room. Shirl
Our corded phone is a traditional one that sits in the hall so when I can't find a handset I'm never too far from the corded one.

We've had cordless phones for years and years and have never had to replace the batteries . We do keep them on the chargers almost all the time though, maybe that's why?
