The Dogmother
Hope the wee kitty is found. Do they have a kitten blanket for Dylan to get the scent from? A hex on yer foot warts, hope they're gone soon. Trying to rain here, flood gates on the lakes at work are open as they are full to bursting. lillybettybabs
Not sure as no one was home. 8 dogs walked and trained today in the rain, all covered in mud and the Maverick (Dylan) enticed them all to bog snorkel! I can't wait for dry long days!

chickencam
And here I have been stuck indoors all day apart from a couple of brief egg collecting sorties. The up side is that I have a lovely clean tidy house.

Patricia W
I've been woken by torrential rain here in South Oxfordshire. Dread to think what the garden and runs will look like in daylight!

Valkyrie
It was rubbish here yesterday - surprise surprise. Today is better - it isn't raining yet. Dull and murky though. Oh for a little bit of sun to cheer us all up.

Groovychook
After another wet day yesterday, it's sunny today! I'm so grateful for this brief break in the weather as the builder is here and is about to start work on the roof. I hope he's got enough time- there are more strong winds on the way this afternoon

Patricia W
Daughter (plus 1 year old, thankfully asleep at the moment) is stuck at the M25/M40 junction because 3 lanes are closed because of SEVERE flooding - when will it end....

Eggasperated
I feel quite guilty about the lovely sunny day we are having here. I have cleaned out the eglu, done 3 loads of washing, spotted growth on my fuchsia cuttings in the polytunnel which I though weren't going to come to anything, and found my 8 year old Wintersweet flowering for the first time ever . And i can hear the solar panel working. However I also spotted loads of cobwebs indoors so I hoovered them away, unfortunately the hoover brush must have got wet in some condensation and I managed to smear a black mark right across the top of a wall in the hall that has not long been painted - the only way to get rid of the mark was to stand on the very top of the stepladder (don't tell OH) and wipe it with a wet cloth. Decided that, as they've forecast rain for here tomorrow, I will leave the cobweb cleaning for a while.
The Dogmother
STILL sunny here - can hardly believe it as it looked to be clouding up earlier. The forecast for the weekend is dire though, with another big storm coming off the Atlantic.
Groovychook
Still sunny-ish here too, although we've had a few brief showers. Roof is fixed, chooks and run have been cleaned out, washing has been partially dried and been out for a lovely walk with baby J & the doglet The wind is starting to pick up now and the sky is darkening... ready for what the weekend might hold in store
