Popular Post The Dogmother
This made me smile - removing one of the broodies from the nest, to go in The Cage of Shame, and she balanced in my hand by fanning her tail like a beautiful flower. She's a gold pencilled wyandotte bantam
SeramaSilly
How fabulous - you'd never know it was a chicken!! Can we have a full picture of her - I've never seen that colouring before?
The Dogmother
You'll have to wait until my phone is charged I have 2; they are show breeder rejects as their colouring is too light
The Dogmother
Not a brilliant photo I'm afraid as she was in the run and the other wyandotte was on the nest. As you can see, she is far too light for breed standards
AndyRoo
I read the subject too quickly as 'Chicken Flour' and thought "What the hell....?"

pips_pekins
It does look like some exotic flower! And she is a very pretty chicken when you can see all of her 😊
Plum
Wyandotte do have nice round bums. Great photo. My eyes were trying to read it as a tree fungus.
Valkyrie
Lovely flower DM! She does have a very boofable bum. Reminded me of a lionfish! A very pretty girl indeed.
The Dogmother
Both she and her sister are as mad as frogs - I've always found Wyandottes to be quite placid, but these two make the araucanas seem tame! mullethunter
My Wyandottes aren’t very approachable either. They will take food from your hand but try and touch hem and they’ll scream blue murder! When we moved house I had to resort to the landing net to catch Amy! Plum
Mine were the same but were born in the bush, always thought they'd be more approachable if handled when young. They'd walk on me but I couldn't stroke them. When young they'd scream when I picked them up. Fun eh

Luvachicken
She may not be show standard but I think she still looks very pretty We had reject bunnies but they were still very handsome.
