Tubtrugs!

Recommended Posts

A- who is doing all our building work while we are having the house put back to its original 3 bedroomed state- is now plastering the new wall he has made.

He has 2 black tubtrugs which he is using for the plaster- he says they are brill as the hardened plaster can just be kicked out of the bucket & then it is clean again 8)

I told him that lots of my "friends" who keep chickens also have tubtrugs to match their eglus.

I own more than I care to mention.

I have a set of orange for to match my cube. I have a large shallow red one for a dustbath (for the chooks, not me) and will get a small ORANGE shallow one when they are available in Spring.

I have about ten others of various sizes and colours for various gardening jobs. I had a bit of a habit, and couldn't come home from the garden centre without a new one. Now that I've found the tubtrug online shop, I've managed to cure myself of getting them from the garden centre.

And, finally, I have the tubtrug runner, which is fab for moving stuff around.

My name is Hazel, and I am a Tubtrug addict.

Christian - saw an orange tubtrug in my local garden centre yesterday - only £4.49 and I think it was a bit bigger :D :D Got to pop back there next week to collect some plants....................

hadn't seen an orange one before and thought 'oh handy if you've an orange eglu'

I've got a few in various colours :D:D:wink:

I have a purple one cos it's my favorite colour

A pink one because it goes nice with the purple one

A big green one to match the Eglu

A small green one that I bought for James but I never let him use it!

A medium brown one that I use for logs - matches the living room

Oh and I'm looking forward to the garden shows starting this year because you can always buy them there at great prices!!!!!!

I liked that one in a bag - wasn't keen on the price though.....

I admit they're not cheap - but a typical multi-pocket garden tool bag is around 20 quid anyway (usually including a bunch of cheapo tools I don't want) and lacks the all-important tubtrug! :)
