Unfortunately I didn't make it to Rome

 

Woke up this morning, feeling like death, swollen throat, snotty nose and aching bones.

 

Been on hold for 20 minutes so far, trying to call in sick

Oh Christian what a disappointment! I do hope you feel better soon. Try and gargle with soluble asprin it will relieve the pain in your throat.

Ice cream is actually very soothing on a swollen throat, so if you have any, indulge... and pizza is usually only a phone call away, or can be ordered on the internet (okie, not quite the same as the real italian thing in Rome, but still, it's pizza)... so if you can't get to Rome, bring Rome to you

Woke up today feeling better, so didn't see the Doctor. Think I have overdone it a bit today though Feel fluey, achy and bunged up still.

 

I'm sure tomorrow will be better, at least my throat is not so sore. The ice cream helped!

 

(maybe 2 tubs wasn't necessary, but it tasted so good)
