Ain't Nobody Here
I am in two minds whether to post about this as it is such a tragedy, but I'm so upset by it and can't get it out of my mind. I know you will offer sympathy and support. A girl in my ES's class at school has died in her sleep, aged 16. She went through primary school with him and her younger brother is in my YS's class. We both know her parents, not well, but they are two of the nicest people I've ever met. She was such a lovely girl, really bright and sporty and with a great future ahead of her. It's so sad and I can't stop thinking about what her parents are going through.

craftyhunnypie
OMG - I don't know what to say - except I'm very very sorry! When I lived at home - there was a lad in the cul de sac off ours who went to bed feeling a bit rough & died. I also remember a girl at the school I went to having a brain hemmorhage in her sleep. Terrible to happen to anyone, but even more terrible to happen to such young people who are only just starting out on the life journeys. BeckyBoo
Very very frightening for all those left behind and an absolute tragedy. I cannot imagine the families anguish, nor do I really want to even try. Sometimes there is no justice and no determining reason in this life. I'm not religious so I can't say a prayer, but I'll be thinking of the family when I'm looking up at the moon and stars tonight and wishing them strength and love Mrs B

abwsco
Such dreadful news {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} to you all and will be thinking of you and the family. Hopefully the school will offer counselling for the pupils. (My youngest daughter aged 16 has lost two friends through suicide in the past couple of years and she went through all sorts of emotions but the counselling did help)
alih
how absolutely awful for her family. It is so unusual thank goodness but such a terrible shock. I think every night how lucky I am as I count my kids in at bedtime. i can;t imagine ever getting over something like that. I suppose it is small comfort that she was asleep and won't have been in pain or afraid..
