Nicola H
Well done Kev i do know how hard it is, I gave up 17 years ago and haven't touched one since........It does take a lot of will power but just keep thinking about all that money you have saved. little chickadee
Well done Kev. I was wondering how you were doing. Just remember that you're not missing out on anything and how stressed smoking makes you feel (always thinking about the next fag) and you shouldn't have a problem staying off. lisa33
Well done Kev! You've done fantastically well. I know how hard it is.
Valkyrie
Well done - keep it up. And to those who feel like one: na ah ahhhh, you know you shouldn't! Yonks ago when friends were quitting - one put money in a piggy bank every time she felt like smoking, then it changed to a bigger jar. Eventually she had saved enough for a nice little holiday (combined with her other half quitting too). Another was told by her OH that she was not allowed to have a baby unless she quit smoking, so every time she felt the urge she picked up some crayons and coloured in a kiddies colouring book - it worked for her. bluekarin
Are any of my fellow stoppers still smoke free?It must be nearly 5 months now for me, I feel great now that I have my lungs back. I wish to thank everyone who helped, bullied, supported me , ........... you know who you are and I love you for it! Kev. That is brilliant news! After smoking for about 15 years I gave up for good 3 yrs and 5 months ago and haven't had one since then. I wanted to do it for ages, but it took breaking my ankle in four places to stop me And I haven't had a craving for them at all. Keep it up! Guest
Go Kev Now you've proved you can do anything you set your mind to. I've been a non-smoker for 6 years now. And a skilled weight holder for 6 months.
