Cate in NZ
Ever since I can remember I've been guilty of looking at clouds and other natural features and spotting other recognisable shapes out of them. I wondered if I was a bit strange until I was visiting a friends house for morning coffee the other day and she pointed out this hill in clear view of her kitchen window and said that it always reminded her of a face. Whilst I'd seen the hill hundreds of times before I'd never picked a face out of it, but when she showed me I could see it straight off......and now every time I drive past that darned hill I imagine an old man lying on his back and looking up at the skies . Anyway, that conversation prompted me to take a picture of my favourite group of trees, which I drive past every day on my way to work. I think that they look a bit like a chicken....or do I just have chickens on the brain . What do you all think :
Lesley
The link isn't working Cate............ We have a tree locally which fell and sprouted new branches at one end - it looks like a snail!

WitchHazel
definitely a chicken, Cate. I love the maori stories about so many hills, stones, trees etc, and how they came to be there. There is a fabulous hill in Hawkes Bay called Te Mata and is a giant lying on his back, complete with a willy. Te Mata was a giant warrior, who fell in love with the daughter of a local chief. She said she would marry him if he completed a task, which was to eat every piece of a nearby hill. he choked on a piee of it, and died. and the one about the three volcanoes, two men and a girl.... and so on. Happy chickens!
Def a chicken!! If you're ever in my part of the world and driving east on the m56 after leaving the m6, you will see a large cliff to the left, and, as you approach, you will definitly see the profile of a giant's head looking to the north!! Unfortunately no picture, as can't stop on the motorway!

Mrs Frugal
Now LSH is definitely NOT chicken obsessed but without reading any of the writing associated with the photo, he said that it was a chicken tree!!
Ana's flock
Yup, a chicken pecking at that tree... I might be a bit horsey-mad but the bit of wood on the tree looks like a profile of a horse's head and neck to me...

chelsea
yes chicken was the first thing I saw isnt it funny - once you have chickens you start seeing and hearing them everywhere (even hearing them when they arent making any noise! which is worrying!)
