Post your Gold........to me ;-)

Recommended Posts

Dont you think its a bit strange that theyre all popping up at once??? My friend reckons it because the banking system is close to collapse so the only thing left worth anything is going to be gold, just like the (very) olden days..unless theyre all speculating that the price will rocket soon..Ive only got my wedding ring so no ppoint in me asking for an envelope!

The thing that makes me laugh on one of the ads (can't remember which) is when they say "phone now for your FREE Gold Kit". What's that then? A free stamped addressed envelope? Whoopee :lol:

Thats what my son said and he's 11! It does make you think though. If you were after lots of gold jewellery why not set up a company, send out some easily spotted envelopes through the mail so then someone 'working' for the postal service can see that envelope has some gold in and *swipe* gone!

Disclaimer: I am in now way saying anyone who works for the Royal Mail are thieves.

i know, on one advert which might be postal gold, the ma on the advert is really weird and doesnt blink at all throughout the whole advert. dont know why i noticed :?

That guy freaks me out, how on earth did they employ him

 My thoughts exactly! He must be a relative of someone in the company...he's the creepiest man on telly!!

My mum took her old damaged gold jewellery to be valued last month, & got £110 cash for it. She put that money towards buying herself a new 22 carat wedding ring, she had lost her orignal ring many years ago when it fell from her finger on a really cold day, & had been wearing a replacement 9ct ring for many years instead.

Incidentally she had the gold vaued the week before she cashed it in & the value of it went up £10 in that one week :D
