fluffyknickers
....that 'we' produced? I know this has been discussed on here before and then mentioned on another thread (sorry cant remember who it was but if you want to take this forward its no problem) but thought I would gauge interest. There are some beautiful and comical photos on this site of all sorts of things (not just chickens) and it would be nice to use 12 of the best in a calendar. The calendar would be sold and any profit going to charity that we could all agree on (BHWT probably???). Wouldnt be a huge cost just the cost of the calendar and postage then some on top for charity. We could produce it using photos submitted and a vote for the 12 favoutite (or 12 and a front cover) I would then be happy to get it produced (nothing fancy just online calendar production eg bonusprint - unless anyone/anyones friend is a printer!!!). This would be produced before xmas (great xmas present!!!). Just a thought - if no one fancies it, no problem. Oh and if this is against forum regulations - of course just take it off and accept my apologies. Michelle
redhotchick
I'd buy one Michelle, but I need space to write things on my calendar (egg weights, vegetables collected, appointments, birthdays). The format is important as well as liking the pictures. Have you seen how much calendars cost in Borders etc!
fluffyknickers
Good point - Yeah we'd agree on a format. Thinking about this I could maybe ring a few local printers and butter them up a bit and tell them its for charity and see if can do good prices...... BeckyBoo
Hmmmm, I would probably buy one if it had a box for each day so I could write in it, then I'd buy one as a present for friends! I use a "You me and the kids" calendar which is great because it has space for everyones social bits and pieces but they're a bit enormous! Chickvic
I'd buy one! I agree with the others - it needs to have enough space
clootie
I'd certainly buy one - I'd be lost with my calendar and this one would be eggstra special. *groan* Sorry.
Space Chick
I'd buy one too
Cinnamon
I think there may be an Omlet calendar in the pipeline.......................
Ain't Nobody Here
I'd buy one but as everyone else says, I need space . My current one has dates listed down the side and 4 columns (I could manage with 2 or 1 wide one!)
Cooks
I'd buy one, I would prefer the proceeds to go to the BHWT though as I think they deserve it. I do love the idea of us voting on our own photos for the calendar and not Omlet doing it for us (sorry Omlet) I just think that is a great idea. I agree I also need space to write appointments etc and I prefer a large calendar not one of those long ones .. they seem to get lost on my notice board... Egluntyne
Sounds great chaps. I'd run the idea by Omlet. If it is going to carry the brand or forum name in any way they will want to have some input.

Seagazer
I think its a great idea too. I use a family one as well - with 5 spaces. Hubby trying to get me into buying a joggler though!
Falkor
We could have a column especially for our hens! You, me, the kids and the girls!

Angels4
I would buy one......
PurpleTree
I'd buy one. I bought a few from this place http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/photo-wall-calendars.aspx?xnav=LeftItem&xnid=Calendars&dng=1168502 last year for Christmas presents. You can upload all your own photos, and choose from lots of different designs and colours. Lot of space to write things each day.
Lewis
I'd be interested I wonder what Omlets calendar pictures would be of? Photos off the forum would be better IMO
mostin
Sounds a really fun idea , especially voting on the photos. I don't care about space to write as I have a huge board for the whole year on my kitchen wall to write things *not anally retentive at all honest *, so calenders are just decoration as far as I'm concerned . Lesley
I like the voting on photos bit as well - I'd buy one.
