Good grief! - I only went away to sort out the pork.......

 

....and I thought I could slip quietly into retirement!

 

Thank you all for your kind words - I've enjoyed my 5 years of moderating from the very quiet days of a fledgling forum up to the very busy, and sometimes demanding, place it has become.

 

Things are changing for Carl this week, workwise, after 20+ years and we probably have a lot of changes to our lifestyle coming up and I want to concentrate more on Carl instead of Bees! We don't know what turns our lives may take - we're planning to hold on to the farm but who knows thase days?

 

It feels very odd to not be moderating but also very liberating - it is amazing how much time some of these moderating things can take.

 

I will definitely still be around - I couldn't give it up if I tried

The first few weeks after retiring from Modding are very strange Lesley! I found that I had got into a habit of scanning a lot of posts, purely looking for things that needed sorted, rather than actually concentrating on whatever point was being made! Reading the forum becomes much quicker, as you can skip bits that you don't want to read now!
