ClaireG
This morning we went to school for an assembly on the residential trip my DS and his classmates went on last week. The trip involved various activites including gorge walking, a climbing wall and kayaking. DS is dypraxic so as you can imagine these activites were very challenging for him. The headmaster gave out certificates for various humorous things with each child getting a certificate for something. He then went on to mention that he was awarding a special golden award to someone who had impressed all the school and centre staff with his enthusiasm and willingness to try everything, his can do attitude and breaking all his targets that had been set and generally being a star. This award was given to DS and i am so proud of him

chickenNutter
Fantastic! My eldest is mildly dyspraxic - you come to dread sports day, or anything that involves co-ordination, so to get encouragement like this is so important. Good on him! from another Omlet Auntie
