Mrs Frugal
If they're anything like as comfy as the other Crocs, they will be terrific and they look dressy enough to go with anything without making you look like Minnie Mouse ! They've got them in fucshia, grey, black and tan so practical colours too.
chelsea
Uggs are sheepskin boots from Australia. They are expensive but the most comfortable things I've ever had on my feet. I bought copies last year and the real things this year and there is no comparison! The real ones are fabulously warm and so comfortable that my feet think they have died and gone to Heaven!! Worth the money without a doubt. This is the Australian website Ugg Boots but you can get them in the UK from various outlets and there are often some on Ebay too for much less than shop prices if you're lucky. Are Uggs suitable for wider feet kate? I know because they are squishy that they obviously have a little give - but do they stretch? I like the shorter ones. Mrs Frugal
Mine are the mid calf ones and my feet are very wide and they fit beautifully. You might find you need to go up a size as they are seriously fluffy inside as they are sheepskin but they soon mould to your feet and are comfy from day one like big cosy slippers!! Spray them with some protector to stop them getting watermarked or they'll look horrible come the first puddle but they are fab. I'm trying to make mine last into next winter too as they were horribly expensive but it's worth it to have warm, comfortable feet.

I have awful psorasis on my feet so I find if difficult to find comfy shoes due to the swelling when my feet get sore. At home I live in totes toasties but Uggs sound just perfect to pamper my feet - and I might just treat myself to a pair - because my poor ole feet are worth it !! Cate in NZ
I ordered a pair of the ballet style (in silver) and scutes (in turquoise/pearl )today from http://www.lookatmycrazyshoes.com today. I'm not sure whether the ballet pumps are actually available yet as all the other sites say available soon, but this one doesn't say any such thing I'm hoping that for me these will be the ideal alternative for work. I love my Crocs, but they're a bit too casual when I'm trying to project a professional image, but I am on my feet a lot of the day, so fingers crossed, they should be perfect
Mrs Frugal
I thought how good they'd be for nursing when I first saw them, Kate. Better than the horrible things I had to wear when I first started ! You'll be cool, trendy and comfortable!

Guest
I hope you get them Kate - just check with the shop if they don't turn up! I ordered my first Crocs from Lookatmycrazyshoes and paid extra to have them delivered the next day. Having waited in all day for the parcel, I rang the shop at 5pm to be told that they were out of stock so they hadn't sent them! No email or anything! I thought that was bad service, so I haven't been back to them.
Cate in NZ
Thanks for that Ginette. I'll give them a few days, and will start chasing mid-week if I don't hear anything. They do say that they will process quickly and email on despatch so I should hear soon. I hope
Guest
Then you can post a picture of you wearing them, so we can all decide whether to get some!

AnnieP
Hmm. I'm not sure that they are over here yet. I have always used this site, to buy five pairs of crocs (for me and for pressies) and my jibbitz... I THINK they are the largest supplier of all things Crocs related... Take a look and see what you think. They have also got some bargains at the moment... so tempting.... Jellyegg
Snowy
I can't believe most of you have already got yours! I ordered mine from sweetfeet on the 10th (specifically ordered a pair that the website said was in stock) and received an email next day to say they were out of stock and they would let me know when they were due in! In the meantime, they have debited my paypal account! I am hopping! Not a happy bunny!
Guest
Ring them up on Monday and get your account re-credited. (I didn't have a problem doing this) Then go to JellyEgg or My Sweet Feet. They will keep in touch with you - and I don't think they'd take your money without posting the goods!
Lesley
Thanks for that Ginette. I'll give them a few days, and will start chasing mid-week if I don't hear anything. They do say that they will process quickly and email on despatch so I should hear soon. I hope I've ordered some from them as well - as soon as kate sent me the email - I'm not convinced they have them in stock either
SarahJo
Hmm ... I ordered light blue caymans from Sweet feet, and they have said they are not in stock, but should be having a delivery this week.. On the other hand ... the Jibbitz arrived 2 days after ordering from Jelly egg ... just have to wait for the crocs now!!!!!. . Still having said that .. they are a birthday pressie ... so if they get here by next sunday, that will be fine. The Jibbitz are next to me on the desk ... and I have been , and not peeked at them. . feemcg
I use fatshoesday.com. The chap is really nice and when I ordered Anna's Georgies he phoned me and said he had checked the ones he was going to send and they had a slight mark on them so there would be a days delay in sending another pair. They are now also stocking Crumpler bags (the new must-have casual bag!) and I want the fuschia striped one - but they are quite expensive (just put the incubator on my credit card so no bag just now!). Lesley
We've all been to the Thai restaurant for lunch today - I know there are stairs and a slippery floor so I had to decide - posh shoes and walk with the aid of my stick or wear Crocs, which have given me the confidence to go without the stick? So I went in my nice purple Crocs Lauren was wearing her purple Crocs as well - my daughter has been a bit about Crocs but likes the new ballet pumps style so she may buy those. Now, if I can just get my Mum interested - we could have 4 generations of Crocs wearers
hillfamily
I bought my first pair of crocs last summer and haven't worn anything else since. I once tried to wear proper shoes - got a very nasty blister so came home immediately and put my crocs back on. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH happy feet Between me and my daughter (charlie) we are making a aim in 2007 to get as many different colour pairs as possible. I got normal colours - navy & black for occasions that require some formality. Fun colours - red & pink for everyday fun and of course green crocs for the garden to match my eglu. Charlie's got yellow crocs for xmas and now has turquoise ones on order. Fortunately she has very large feet and is only a size smaller than me so decided to have the same size as me so we can swap My feet have never been so happy
Charlottechicken
I am now very curious about trying some Crocs, but am not good at keeping footwear on my feet if it's not secured on in some way .I think there are a couple of shops in the Bullring who sell them so I will have a look (if I can force myself to go in there). By the way, there are sellers on ebay offering the Crocs ballet pumps and Mary Janes as BIN's
The Dogmother
I will probab;y get Rosie some of the Mary Janes as she loved weraing her Crocs to school last summer. I'm not sure about the ballet pumps though - I have a high instep and find pump style shoes a real pain.
