.....to four new hens. Two Whitestars and two Speckledys ( or is is Speckledies.....I'm never sure ) from Jody at Raw Green Cottages.

 

Am pondering on names at the mo and am thinking of something snow orientated as there is an awful lot about at the mo.

Sorry....been watching Eastenders and Coronation Street.

 

They are rather timid and camera shy. Will try to get better pics tomorrow, as these are rubbish, if I'm honest.

The Whitestars are Nyla after Nanook of the North's wife, and Pipaluk after the polar bear.

 

Still wracking by brains for names for the other 2. Will have to be something Inuit.

As for names, I'd immediately thought of the Simpsons... Snowflake I and Snowflake II Your names are much more imaginative

 

For the speckledies, howsabout based on a Winter Olympics venue? Lille (hammer) and Sara (jevo)??!! Or back to your snow theme - Crystal and Dusty as they have just a little sprinkling of white

 

Ookpik/Okpik/Ukpik is Inuit for snowy owl, which is speckled white with black flecks and the national bird of Quebec, in the Inuit territory.
