They are fairly rare in the UK. They were the featured breed in Prac Poultry magazine last year and I have yearned for one ever since I saw them in there

Domino is still the only chicky in the brooder but we now have a cochin out and two others pipped so he will have company soon

 

I say he as I am pretty sure it is a he - no defined head spot

Little chickie has friends now! Well he hasn't met them yet but two cochins are drying off in the inccubator at the moment
