patsylabrador
Went past a school yesterday afternoon and all the Mum's were waiting. I thought ' Crikey, there's a lot of teenage Mums here'. Then I realised that they weren't teenage they were ordinary age to be Mums. It's like all those school children you see dressed up as police officers. Griffin
And the doctors are too young. So true! When Georgia was rushed to A&E about 18 months ago her consultant looked about 17 And Daisys science teacher isn't much older than that I was shocked last week at parents evening

Busybird
Alis girls wrote very long hiar unless very well kept and it aint adds yrs to you Oh dear - that is me 45 yrs old, looking very middle aged and overweight and with hair down to my waist I know it doesn't do anything for me but find it easy to look after as I just wash, brush and tie it up. Very lazy. I was at a friends a few weeks ago and her teenage son (17/18) came home. I hadn't seen him for a while and he has become a real looker - tall, dark, handsome... Now I find that terrifying - that I could find a friends SON attractive! Not as terrifyng as he would find me thinking him attractive of course
katie-may
I must admit it is weird having young people doing jobs I don't remember it when i was younger. Saying that I'll be a qualified teacher (hopefully) when I'm 22 the scary thing is I took a gap year! We had a class each for 6 weeks in March and i felt embarressed when they asked me my age they were only like 12 years younger than me! To be fair thought I prefer the younger doctors and nurses...young pilots scare me though! The worst thing is the 40 odd parents that wear clothes that are too young for me! Alis girls
Some of my ES's friends are lovely - one has a gorgeus smile, another is a flatterer which works well with moi. My son is lovely - tall but is at the awkawrd brace and mild acne stage - but i know I think, am I looking at these lovely boys - all muscley and not a overwieght one. Hot flush coming on. I do find my hair when past my neck ages me - at present it meck length - and I have the frizz too. Lorraine Chase and Jerry Hall manage long hair well and yes they have money. But a girl can dream - i would never ever do anything about persuing a younger man - I am too fond of my old boy OH in other words - he'll do for me ta

Having said that, some of DS's friends are as tall as me & not a lot taller than DS...I didn't think I was particularly small at 5ft 7 .....and DS takes great pleasure in announcing I have smaller feet than him & I can wear some of his jackets etc...snuggly, but I can get them on Sha x
PurpleTree
one of our doctors, who I always seem to see when the boys are ill, looks younger than me. That made me feel old when I first met him, and I'm only 29 He even confessed that he hadn't had any breakfast that morning
Charlottechicken
My new dentist is no older than 14, and really tiny too. All the dental assistants look like schoolgirls too. When did I become old

Very lazy. Me too Alis Girls! I have very long hair and I'm in my 5th decade but hey, I'd be a boring slightly squidge middle aged mother of three if I didn't have my belisha beacon orange frizz-wig to set me apart!! Try actually BEING one of those jobs - I'm a copper, the Chief Constable is about 14, the policemen and women are 12, there are officers coming through now who weren't born when I left college!!! The Dogmother
I had Rosie when I was 35, so I am the oldest mum in her class (as she's fond of reminding me ). All of my contemporaries have children in their 20s now.

jlo
I trekked up Kilimanjaro with a group a couple of years ago and was old enough to be mother to most of them! I wouldn't mind but I still feel 24 (until I look in the mirror!)

The other way around I'm one of the younger mums at school and I have two children (three in sept).Ds2 is in reception and I'm definitely one of the youngest two parents. I think more people are having children later on generally (except the other extreme of teenage parents) That said, why are all these tweenagers not being stopped from driving?
