Geoid
I went to the swimming pool today. Locked up my bike at the bike racks, when I came out 2 and a half hours later, it was gone . Phoned the police, they said they will get back to me with a crime number. I hadn't even had it a year yet
Ain't Nobody Here
Oh no . What rotten luck . I hope the thieves get their comeuppance .
bluekarin
Thats gutting. Hope the police find who ever took it. Why do people feel the need to take things that don't belong to them? Not sure where you are, but my brother had his nicked a few years ago when he lived in Tottenham. It was chained in his back garden which had no rear gate and you could only get into it by climbing over a very tall brick wall Whoever took it must have really liked the bike. Unfortunately his was never found.

Clur
Sorry to hear your bad news Fred. It may be scant consolation but some thieves get their comeuppance - when DH's bike got stolen when he w as 16, the thieves would have been surprised as they got to the bottom of a steep hill, on a busy road, to find out the bike had no brakes... I suppose they will, but they did get back to me very quickly, I phoned them up at 9:45pm, they said they would get back in 72 hours, at 7am the next day they got back to me.
